Hello and welcome to my charity motorcycle run website, 4corners4cancer.org.uk

Beginning on Friday the 7th of May myself and a few others are doing a charity motorcycle run around the four Geographical points of the UK. My run is going to be in fancy dress (designed by my 7 year old nephew Fraser) and without the use of motorways. We will be camping along the way, raising money for two very worthwhile charities and hopefully raising a few smiles too.

The two charities we are raising for are Myeloma Uk and We are Macmillan. The monies raised for Myeloma Uk will go to support of the charity as a whole and I have chosen Myeloma as somebody very close to me was recently affected by this relatively less heard of cancer. The monies raised for We Are Macmillan monies will be directed to benefit cancer sufferers in our local area who are in financial difficulty as a result of their illness. This benefit will be through grants to help with the likes of mortgage payments or to supply any specialised equipment that could help them around the home. Did you know that the second biggest worry for a sufferer is their finances?

Cancer can affect so many people in so many ways, whether directly as a sufferer or indirectly with someone close to you being the sufferer. So please everybody, click on the just giving links to donate and help those less fortunate around us.

We would also like to open my journey to anybody who would like to join us at any point. We are sure that this will be a fun run and the more people who come along or even just give me a friendly 'toot' in the passing, the better. We already have some takers and possibly more fancy dress too.
